- Just a note to
congratulate you on a great evening's entertainment. It was all I could
do, not to break into song during the Carousel and Fiddler items.
- On Wednesday
8th December (2004) I saw the performance of Beethoven's 'Egmont Overture',
and Coleridge-Taylors 'Petite Suite de Concert'. I was thoroughly
impressed with both renditions. It's lovely to see an amateur orchestra
comfortably performing to professional standards. A splendid evening
of music which appeared relished by performers and audience alike.
Many thanks!!!
- I must tell you
how much we enjoyed the evening. It was a wonderful concert, varied and
with some superb playing/singing. It sounded good and we thought it was
amazing value for money too - £6 for all that!! Marvellous!
- I enjoyed the Beethoven - it was great fun.
- I enjoyed the Matthias, the orchestra really
engaged with the music.
- I’m really enjoying the concert. I haven’t
been to one for a while.
- Excellent as usual
- Wonderful! I thoroughly enjoyed it.
- A very well balanced concert -a lovely evening
- So enjoyable it inspired me to become a friend.
- I enjoyed it very much. It’s nice to hear
some more unusual music.
- I really enjoyed the Strauss and the ‘cocktail
pieces’
- A lovely mixture
